41 Works A House Explosion

WrightsvilleFIRE Web Division, July 24

At 0500, 41 was alerted for a structure fire on the 100 Block of Calvary Church Road in Lower Windsor. Units from Company 44 were on scene with a house explosion w/fire and possible entrapment.

41 dumped the house with 18 personnel, and 4 in quarters. Engine 41 arrived and was involved in the water relay to the scene due to a long driveway with limited access.

Double Ejection On Route 30

At 1415, the Rescue Company was alerted for an MVA w/ Rollover on Route 30 in the area of the Hellam Exit. Chiefs 40, 41, DC 41, and Rescue 2 went en route with 7 personnel.

6 Runs Since Midnight

19 minutes after midnight, Company 41 was alerted for a transfer assignment to Company 894 while the Truck worked a fire in York City. The Rescue-Engine went en route with a crew of 7. 41 stood by until 0138.

At 0348, Rescue 2 was alerted for a Medical Assist in the First Due.

7 Minute Extrication On Mt. Pisgah

WrightsvilleFIRE Web Division, July 18

Shortly after 1500 hours, the Rescue Company was alerted on Box #4110 for an MVA w/ entrapment on the 6100 Block of Mt. Pisgah Road in the township. The Chief, and both Rescues were enroute with 11 men in one minute.

Chief 41 arrived on the scene to find a two-vehicle MVA, head on with one driver pinned.
