Today six Wrightsville Fire Department members joined with members from the  Columbia # 1 Fire Department (LC8-1), East Prospect Fire Company (York 42), Maytown East Donegal Township Fire Department (LC7-9), and the Springettsbury Township Fire Department (York 16) to complete the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, "Academy on the Road Program" Large Area Search. Under the direction of lead Fire Academy Instructor Keven Kulp (Battalion Chief Reading City) and Denney Harris (Progress Fire Company), 30 students practiced search evolutions and rope evolutions in large areas under simulated conditions. Great job to the following members: Deputy Chief Livelsberger, Captain Livelsberger, Lieutenant Poole, Lieutenant Groft, Firefighter A. McMillion, Firefighter E. Oberdorff.
