At 16:28 hours, for the first time in over 70 years, the Rescue-Engine out of 41 was due on the 5th alarm assignment of a 6th alarm residential structure fire on the 300 block of E. King Street in York City. Rescue 41 was due as a RIT team, and responded with 8 personnel in two minutes, leaving 9 in station. Crew arrived, and was assigned RIT on side Charlie. No incidents were reported, and 41 was available at 19:15 hours. |
