The Memorial Day weekend began for the 41 House at 1715hrs, with an injury crash
in Hellam Township in the 21 first due, at the intersection of Rt. 462 and Kreutz
Creek Road. Chief 21-1 arrived on scene with a 2 vehicle accident, 1 into a
light pole with 2 injuries. Rescue 41-2 responded within 1 minute Deputy Livelsberger
in the seat with 5, Rescue 41-1 went enroute within 2 minutes Captain Livelsbeger
in the seat with 6. Chief 21-1 assuming the Command, crews from 21 and
41 assisted EMS 41 with patient care, depowered vehicles, conrtolled fluids and
cleaned up debris. 21 and 41 crews remained on scene until Hellam Township roadcrew
removed the light pole.
