Just before 05:00 hours, the Engine Company was dispatched for an Engine Company transfer at Station 7-9 (Maytown).

41 personnel were standing by in station prior to dispatch and the engine was on the street in two minutes with 9 qualified personnel.

Maytowns apparatus were operating on a 2nd alarm dwelling fire in Mt. Joy Borough.  Engine 41 stood by along with Dauphin Rescue 59 (Lower Swatara) for just over 3 hours before being released at 07:58.

After the transfer, the Engine crew made their way to Rivertown Restaurant in the 41 District for breakfast.  Just after arrival, the 41-3 box was struck for an auto accident with injuries on Codorus Furnace Road in Hellam Township.

Rescue 41-2 and Engine 41 went enroute one minute with 9 personnel.
Units arrived on scene to find a one-vehicle accident into a pole with heavy front end damage and fluid leak.  Patient was out of the vehicle upon 41 arrival.  Engine 41 crew split to assist in patient care, and vehicle stabilization.

Crews then cleared debris and waiting for towing services.  The box was available at 09:10.

The day ended with a Medical Assistance call in Wrightsville Borough.

A special thanks to Terry Stokes from Station 7-9 for providing standby crews with donuts and beverages.
