As crews were doing work in the office, they heard the township police getting the
call for a vehicle accident with injuries on the 30 strip at the Wrightsville
Exit. Rescues 41-1, 41-2, and the Command vehicle were enroute in 30 seconds with a crew of 11; two in-house. Rescue 41-2 arrived on the scene to find a 2-vehicle accident, 1 patient confined to a vehicle was Class I. Another patient in 2nd vehicle self-extricated (Class II). The Class I patient was extricated using the Holmatro cutters and spreader from Rescue 1. Hellam and Wrightsville crews depowered vehicles, assisted in patient care, and cleaned debris from the roadway. Fire police remained on scene until vehicles were towed. Chief 21-1 then placed the 21-15 box available. ______________________________________________________________ At 19:50, the RIT team from Wrightsville was due to assist York Station 19 (York Township) with a working commercial structure fire on Camp Betty Washington Road. Rescue 41-1 responded in less than a minute with a crew of 7; and 9 in quarters.
