Around 21:23 hours, Rescue 41-2 was dispatched for a Class I medical assistance call on Chestnut Street in Wrightsville. Rescue 41-2 went enroute with 3 trained personnel in less than one minute.  Rescue 41-2 arrived first-in, with PD on location, finding one patient down after being attacked with a baseball bat. 28 units left the scene to find the assailant, and as crews were finishing up patient care and loading, fights were breaking out in the area and word of a gun was brought into the mix. Ambulance 42 quickly departed, and crews from Rescue 41-2 dropped med bags on scene and cleared the area for safety reasons. The Volunteers from Wrightsville worked the scene for 27 minutes before returning to service.
