At 12:08, the Hellam Township box was struck for a vehicle accident with injuries
on Rt. 30. Chiefs 41 and 41-1 responding and were given the additional of
a vehicle vs. a tractor trailer in the median, one patient with minor injuries,
and a possible rollover. Chief 5 was also on scene advising incoming units
that this was westbound after the bridge and to use the turnaround.
Chief 41-1 arriving on scene with one vehicle overturned in the median, one tractor
trailer in the median, and one patient on the ground, requesting a medic unit
to also respond. Rescue 41-2 arrived on scene and assisted EMS 41 with
patient care and packaging. After patient was loaded into the waiting ambulance,
crews gathered debris. After the tow and the successful removal
of the tractor trailer from the ditch, box available. |
