At 1204, the Engine Company was requested by Chief 44 to respond to a brush fire on Prayer Mission Road in Lower Windsor. The Engine went en route with 4 in less than a minute, leaving 4 more personnel in quarters. The Engine arrived and drove through the field and began assisting with fire attack. Crews deployed one crosslay and the bumper line to knock the fire down. 41 remained on scene for approximately 2 hours.
