At 09:53, the Engine Company was alerted as the Rapid Intervention Team on Box #3940 for a structure fire on the 800 Block of Richmond Road in Chanceford.

Engine 41 went en route in one minute with a staffing of 7, followed by Rescue 1 with two personnel.

Units from Companies 39/44 arrived on scene with a two story single family dwelling, fully involved with extension to another house and shed. Engine 41 arrived as the 4th Engine and pulled additional lines and began an exterior attack.

Crews remained on the scene until the arrival of a track hoe and the house was torn down.
