The officers and members of the Wrightsville Steam Fire Engine & Hose Company No. 1 are proud to have been awarded over $60,000 from the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. These funds will be utilized to replace hose, nozzles, adapters, and other related appliances with new equipment that features the latest advancements in fire hose and accessories. Equipment being replaced will include what is currently in use on Engine 41, Rescue 41-1, and spare equipment housed in station. The new equipment will be lighter, safer, and allow us to be more efficient in our operations.
