Rescue-Engine 41 was dispatched to company 19's (York Township Fire) first due as the Rapid Intervention Team for a working fire in an apartment building. Engine 19-1 went on scene with a three story garden style apartment building with fire showing from the second and third floors. Rescue 41-1 arrived and established RIT on Side "A". The crew was then split to assist with searches on the 3rd Division and also to assist with extinguishment. 41 operated for 2 hours to complete extinguishment and overhaul operations.
