Wrightsville Fire & Rescue participates in many community events throughout the year sharing fire prevention information and showing the community what our dedicated volunteers do. During Fire Prevention Week 2013, we will be out at several locations throughout the week including local schools.
OPEN HOUSE - Our open house will be held on Wednesday, October 9th from 6pm-8pm. Children and adults alike are welcome to visit the fire station for various fire prevention activities including handouts, fire truck rides, and a visit from Sparky! As always, our firefighters will be present to answer any questions you may have.
This year's NFPA Fire Prevention Week theme is: "Preventing Kitchen Fires"
Cooking fires are the #1 cause of home fires and home fire injuries. We have included links with additional information below.
