Wrightsville Fire, August 18

Engine 41, Rescue 41-1, Rescue 41-2, and Fire Chief 41 assisted Hellam Fire Company 21, on a Barn Fire in the 600 block of Hillview Road. Engine 41 arrived shortly after Engine 21-2 and operated as the second due engine. rescue 41-1 established a second fill site, while Rescue 41-2 and Fire Chief 41 assisted with various tasks on the fire ground.

No Caption NEW SALEM TRENCH RESCUE

Wrightsville Fire, August 13

This evening, the York County ATR was dispatched to assist York New Salem Fire with a Trench Rescue in New Salem Borough. Rescue 41-1 (W/4) and 2 additional technicians from Company 41 made the response. First arriving units located a subject who had fallen to the bottom of an 8’ trench and was unable to get out.
