Double Ejection On Route 30

At 1415, the Rescue Company was alerted for an MVA w/ Rollover on Route 30 in the area of the Hellam Exit. Chiefs 40, 41, DC 41, and Rescue 2 went en route with 7 personnel.

York 911 advised two people were ejected from the overturned vehicle and one Class 4 patient per Chief 2 (Shiloh WMT). DC 41 arrived on the scene and found a two vehicle accident-one multi-passenger van overturned at the Rt. 30 westbound ramp and established command.

Deputy 41 advised incoming units of two patients to be transported to trauma centers, as well as two Class 4 patients.

Crews from 41 assisted EMS with patient care and depowering the vehicles. Fire units remained on scene until PD completed their investigation.

41 assisted the coroner before going available.

Thanks to Engine Co. 801 (Columbia#1) for transferring to Company 41.
