This evening, members were joined by some very special guests for dinner. The sons of fallen fireman James Yohe, Glen and Mark, along with their families met with our volunteers to share information about Mr. Yohe and stories of their father.

James E. Yohe died in the line of duty on November 14, 1961 after sustaining burns over 98% of his body while working the scene of a fire at an auto repair shop in Wrightsville Borough. Mr. Yohe was survived by his wife Nancy, 9-year-old son Glen, and unborn son Mark.

Glen and Mark were presented with Citations of Valor by Fire Chief Chad Livelsberger and President Richard Livelsberger from the department honoring Mr. Yohe's courageous sacrifice. The department is working to have Mr. Yohe's name added to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's pre-1981 fallen firefighters memorial, which is currently in the early stages of being created.

We would like to thank the Yohe family from the bottom of our hearts for spending the evening with us. May he never be forgotten!
