Assisting Blue Rock With A Garage Fire

Shortly after clearing a medical assist and gas leak, at 1024 the Engine Company was alerted as part of the tanker task force for a working house fire on the 100 Block of Richland Dr. in Manor Township, Lancaster County.

Engine 41 went en route with 7 personnel in one minute under the direction of DC Livelsberger. Engine 41 arrived and was sent to establish a tanker fill site after dropping off its crew at the scene.

The crew from E41 assisted in overhaul of the garage. 41 was available in just over 1 hour.

There was a good stop on the fire by the first due crews, and also making a grab of a dog from the house which was revived by Susquehanna Valley EMS.
