At approximately 0913, Company 41 was dispatched to the 6100 block of Mt. Pisgah Road for the residential structure fire. Rescue 41-1 was on the street with a crew of 8 shortly after dispatch, with the engine following shortly after. Chief 40 arrived on scene to find fire visible from side "C" of the structure, and quickly requested the working fire dispatch. The rescue company arrived stretching 2 hand lines quickly extinguishing the fire. While the Rescue and Engine were on the fire, Rescue 41-2 handled a crash and a transfer to Station 38. Company 41 continued to stay busy throughout the rest of the day, handling a fire alarm in Hellam Township, assisting Lancaster Station 79 with a fire alarm and an inside investigation, and 2 first due med locals.
