At 1623, the Rapid Intervention Team was special requested by Chief 19 (Tracey) for a working house fire on the 2000 Block of Wyntre Brooke Drive South in York Township.

Rescue 41-1 went en route with 6 personnel in one minute under the direction of AC Russ.

Units arrived on scene with a working fire in a 2 story condo. R-41-1 arrived on scene and split crews between side "D" RIT, and a crew to the roof to complete a trench cut to stop fire spread. After the fire was knocked, crews performed salvage and overhaul operations and assisted in picking up.

Engine 41 arrived with 8 additional personnel for manpower, but was redirected to the quarters of Company 19 for standby. 41 operated for approximately 2-1/2 hours before returning to quarters.
