Engine Company Takes First Due Assignment at 38 House Fire

At 0802, The Engine Company was alerted for smoke and fire from a house on the 1100 Block of Canadochly Road in Lower Windsor. Engine 41 went en route with 7 personnel in two minutes. Car 38 arrived on scene with a 2 story single family and smoke showing from the attic. Engine 41 arrived on scene and stretched the bumper line to the 2nd floor and found fire in the kitchen walls. Engine Company 38 arrived and supplied the Engine. Crews opened up the walls. Crews also checked the attic for extension with nothing found. Rescue 41-1 was dispatched to assist with additional personnel. Crews performed overhaul and ventilation. 41 operated for just over an hour and a half.
