41 Assists Blue Rock With A Brush FIre

At 1254, the Engine Company was alerted to the 2900 Block of River Road in Manor Twp, Lancaster County for a brush fire. Units were on scene with a brush fire on the side of a steep grade along the Enola Low Grade Rail Trail in the area of the Safe Harbor Dam.

Engine 41 went en route with 4 personnel in less than one minute. The Engine arrived on scene, and its crew was shuttle back to the scene via Special Unit 801 approximately 4 miles into the trail. Upon arrival, 41 went to work assisting crew with raking hot spots, and then packing forestry line.

41 operated for 2 and 1/2 hours before standing by at Company 907. (Blue Rock)
