Shortly after noon, Company 41 was alerted for a fire alarm at the Eastern York High School in Lower Windsor. Engine 41, Rescue 41-2, and the Fire Chief were on the street in less than a minute with 9 personnel.

Units arrived on scene to find a two-story educational facility, nothing showing. Crews met with school staff, who advised that there was a trash can on fire in the bathroom, possibly out.

Crews pulled an 1-3/4" line off of Engine 38. Crews extinguished the smoldering trash with a water can, and performed a search of the building which was negative.

41 was available within one hour.
