The last three days found the MIB handling 8 calls for service, participating in a burning of the flags ceremony, and holding a Chicken BBQ fundraiser. Calls handled this weekend were an AFA, Working Structure Fire, Inside Investigation, MVA w/ confinement, Working Vehicle Fire, 2 Injury Crashes, and an unknown type alarm. In between calls, the volunteers were asked to participate in the American Legion Post 469 's burning of the flag ceremony on Saturday. The members stood by and assisted with the proper burning of the worn/tattered American Flags in a ceremony that is held by the American Legion each year. The MIB were right back at it bright and early on Sunday morning preparing the delicious Chicken BBQ. Thanks to all the members for staffing and assisting in the events this weekend.
