At 1347 the Rescue Company was dispatched along with Engine Co 21 (Hellam) and Ambulance 41 for a motor vehicle accident with class two injuries at the intersection of W Market and Freysville Roads. Rescue 41-2 responded quickly with 5 personnel under the direction of Lt. Rhoads.

Engine 21 arrived on scene, with a two vehicle head-on crash with one patient still inside the vehicle, Captain 21 (Livelsberger) with Command.

Rescue 41-2 arrived on scene shortly after and assisted Company 21 with patient care, fluid control and depowerment. Rescue 41-1 arrived on scene and assumed the same responsibilities.

A total of 3 patients were transported by EMS to local hospitals.
