At 1238 hours, York County 911 alerted Companies 21 and 41 for a vehicle accident with fire on Route 30 in the area of Accomac Road. Engine 41 (LT Oberdorff) went en route in less than one minute. York gave an additional of a 2 vehicle accident with fire, patient with a nosebleed and a second patient needing checked out. Engine 41 arrived on location with a working engine compartment fire. Engine 41 lineman (Seibert) stretched the 1-3/4" bumper line and knocked the fire quickly. EMS 41/89 arrived and evaluated the patients, while Engine 21 and Rescue 41-1 assisted with overhaul. Crews picked up and went available shortly after.
