This morning Volunteers led by Assistant Chief Livelsberger and Captain Newcomer met with state officials to complete our rescue inspection through the State Fire Commissioner’s Office and the Department of Health.

We are proud to announce the we have passed our inspection, being recognized as an advanced rescue company. There are multiple levels of recognition through the State Rescue Program. The “Advanced Level” is highest and hardest level to achieve as this requires members to have high training standards and vast equipment list that is required to be carried on the apparatus. This is the second time we have completed and passed at this level.

This recognition/certification speaks volume to the type of volunteers we have here at Wrightsville Fire Department and the pride of services we provide to the citizens of Wrightsville, Hellam Township and the surrounding area.
