Just before 1330, stations 41 & 21 were alerted to Cool Creek Road in the area of the golf course for an unknown injury accident. Units arrived to find an over turned trailer hauling equipment that was leaking fluids. Command requested the hazmat team to the scene, while crews contained the leak.

While awaiting the arrival of hazmat, YCDES dispatched a garage fire in Hellam Fire Company’s first due. Units freed up and went responding immediately. Chief 21 arrived to find a well involved detached garage fire. Rescue 41-1 supplied Engine 21 while drafting from tanker operations. The fire was under control in less than 10 minutes.

While clearing that fire, units were alerted for a reported house fire less than a mile away. Chief 21 arrived to find a controlled burn beside a house and cleared the call.
