The Rescue-Squad & Fire Chief were dispatched by York 911 late this afternoon for a report of a Drowning Subject at the Maple Street Boat Launch in the Borough and responded immediately with 7 personnel.

As units were arriving, the subject of an overturned kayak was rescued by a passing boater and brought to shore. The MIB provided medical care until the arrival of EMS.
