Yesterday, Mr. Kratz of the Emergency Health Services Federation completed our Triennial Rescue Inspection through the State Fire Commissioner’s Office and the PA Department of Health.
We are proud to announce that we have passed our inspection, being recognized as an Advanced Rescue Company. There are multiple levels of recognition through the State Rescue Program. The “Advanced Level” is highest and hardest level to achieve, as this requires members to have high training standards and vast equipment cache’s that are required to be carried on the apparatus. This is the third time we have completed and passed at the Advanced level.
This recognition/certification speaks volume to the type of Volunteers we have here at Wrightsville Fire and the pride of services we provide to the citizens of Wrightsville, Hellam Township and the surrounding area. The Rescue Companies at Wrightsville Fire are only 1 of 3 recognized at the advanced level in the South-Central PA Region.
