On the evening of Tuesday, December 21, 2021, the Wrightsville Steam Fire Engine & Hose Company No. 1 along with Hellam Township officials gathered for a contract signing with 10-8 Emergency Vehicle Service/Seagrave Fire Apparatus. This new apparatus will replace our 1996 Seagrave Marauder rescue-engine currently serving as Rescue 41-1. The 1996 Seagrave has been the longest serving front-line motorized apparatus in our organization’s history, responding first out to most calls over the last 25 years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the apparatus committee members, 10-8 Emergency Vehicle Service, and most importantly the Hellam Township Board of Supervisors for their dedication to make this purchase possible. Specifications on the new Rescue Engine are as follows: 2022 Stainless Steel 154” Attacker Class Cab & Chassis *Drawings may differ from final specifications |
