The Wagon (W6) made the response within seconds and was advised by the communications center that they were receiving rapid calls for a porch on fire. The Wagon arrived as the FDE to find a 3 story duplex with smoke showing. Crews established their own water supply and stretched an attack line, finding fire in the porch roof as well as the first and second floors. All fire was extinguished within 10 minutes of arrival. The Rescue Company also responded and assisted with opening up. Crews operated for 2 hours before going available.
