This weekend, we are providing manpower for a standby at FAYETTEVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT so their members can enjoy their banquet weekend

Just after two of our members arrived, Engine 7-1 was alerted to Adams County to assist Buchanan Valley FD on a reported house fire in the 2707 box area. Fire Chief 27 arrived to find a 2 story private dwelling with fire showing, as Engine 7-1 arrived as the first due engine. Crews found fire in the stairwell and on the second floor, which was extinguished quickly. Searches proved negative and no injuries were reported. Fire Chief 27 held the Buchanon Valley Command.
