Just after 21:00 hours, 41 was alerted to the area of Lemon Street and Howard Ave.
in the borough for a water rescue. The caller stated a car was along the
river bank and then dissapeared. Engine, Both Rescues and the Car responded
with 19. As 41 apparatus arrived, crews began searching the banks along
with boats 8-4 (Hambones) and 8-1 (Columbia #1). After 24 minutes, the
call was determined to be false, and Wrightsville Volunteers went home safe. |
