Wrightsville's Bravest started their day at 08:05 with an auto accident involving a tractor-trailer in Hellam Township.  Rescue 1 responded in two minutes with a crew of 11, Capt. 41 in the seat.  Rescue 1 arrived on location, with a tractor trailer having minor damage causing a Class 3 medical sign-off.  The Rescue returned 33 minutes later.

Shortly before 11:30, Engine 41 was dispatched to assist Lancaster 79 (Maytown) with the gas leak at a nursing facility.  Engine arrived on the scene, and began a Level 2 stage.  Capt. 41 took manpower staging officer, while 41 crews assisted 8-1 in laddering the building.   41 personnel also assisted in the evacuation of residents and the metering of the facility.  The Engine Company returned just under 4 hours later.
While the Engine was operating at the gas leak,  Rescue 2 Responded to Maytown's Quarters for a rescue company transfer.  As the rescue was clearing the call, shots were ringing out in the Borough uptown.  Rescue 2's crew sprung into action with reports of one shot at the Turkey Hill.  The rescue company arrived to find a victim with a gun shot wound, but fled the scene only to be stopped in the township moments later.   The box was cleared in just 20 minutes.
