•1-18-07 - Engine Arrives On AFA With Smoke In The Structure•
Early Thursday Morning just after 0100hrs Engine and Rescue 41 were due on Box 41-12 in Hellam township on the Lincoln Highway at the River Beverage for the Automatic Fire Alarm. Engine 41 arrived first with nothing showing from the Alpha - Delta corner of the building. Rescue 41 arrived shortly after, crews investigated and found a light smoke condition inside. Deputy 41 arrived assumed the command, with the Truck from 42 (East Prospect) setting up on the Alpha side, along with the Engine from LC 79 (Maytown). Crews made entry via keyholder, finding a burnt fan belt in the furnace. The business was ventilated and the box was reduced to the 41 Engine and 42 Truck.
