1-17-10 - Upon the Lancaster County pre-alert for a working dwelling, the Engine Company loaded up to work the 8th street fire in Columbia Borough.  Enroute with 6 firemen prior to the York County dispatch when requested for the working fire assignment at 1514 hours.  41 arrived and went to work throwing ladders and going interior to relieve first due crews.  Company 41 available at 1620 hours.

1-18-10 - As the Columbia Borough departments were working the West Hempfield (LC 7-6) mobile home fire, the Rescue-Engine from 41 was due to transfer to Lancaster County Station 8-4 at 0335 hours with a crew of 8. 













1-18-10 - At 0538, the pre-alert was given for a second mobile home fire at 111 Madge Drive in Lancaster County's East Hempfield Township (6-7).  The rescue crew assembled immediately to roll out with confirmation of 41 being on the assignment with the dispatch.  Engine 6-7-1 arrived on scene to confirm the working fire.  Upon arrival, the  Rescue 1 crew assembled at manpower staging  and immediately went to work with putting the 3rd line off of Engine 6-7-1 in service.  The remainder of the crew did a primary search of the rear bedroom which came up negative.  After the search was complete, 6-7 had the fire knocked allowing the overhaul process to begin.  Crews worked together to extinguish any hidden fire.  Rescue-Engine 41 went available at 0754 hours.
