At 15:05 hours, the Lancaster 8-7 box was struck for a second alarm structure fire
on the 700 Block of Ridge St. in Columbia borough. Engine & Rescue 41 responded
within 1 minute with a crew of 11. Engine 1 arrived on scene, crew sent
to staging in front of Rescue 8-4. Crew was then sent to the rear of the
structure with a handline to extinguish fire and pull walls, crew also did overhaul
after the fire was out. Rescue 41 was sent to 8-1's quarters for standby.
41 crews operated for 1 hour, 49 minutes. |
