Shortly after a visit from the "Pump Fire Crew," The 16-103 Box was hit for a Commercial
Structure in Springettsbury Township on North Hills Road. At 16:26
the assignment was upgraded to a 3rd Alarm bringing in the 41 Wagon. Engine
1 and Car 1 were en route soon after with 10 and Chief Urey in command.
Per Springetts Command, Engine 1 was to pump from the hydrant at Philadelphia
and Manheim Streets into Engine 19 and send its manpower to the scene on North
Hills Road. As Car 1 was returning to quarters, it came across a 3 vehicle
crash on East Market Street in the area of Pleasant Acres Road. The
Car crew immediately took action by handling traffic control and removing debris
from the roadway after checking on the extent of injuries. Car 1 cleared
the scene after the arrival of Engine 34-1 & Truck 16 at 17:56. Engine 1 cleared the fire scene at 19:37. Thank you to Columbia No. 1 for providing the Engine Company Transfer in the time if need! |
