•11-27-05: 41 Juniors Hit The Streets of Harrisburg• |

After attending an emergency responder course for about 6 hours at the 41 house,
Junior firefighters; Brown, Armitage, Livelsberger, and Poole along with firefighter
Oberdorff went on a last minute-planned trip to the City of Harrisburg at
14:30 hours. They visited all 4 operating stations in the city. They
started at Station 6, on 2nd Street visting the crew of Tower 3. (Downtown).
After that, they headed to the Hill (Allison Hill) to visit Station 2, home
of Tower 1, Wagon 4 & Rescue 1. After that, the group hit Squad 8 followed
by the boys at Wagon 3 / Tower 2. Although quiet all evening, while
proceeding back to Da' Ville, they caught some action when Squad 8, Tower 1, Tower
3, & Wagon 4 got banged for the AFA in the high-rise, and an electrical fire
on 13th at the same time... We would love to thank the officers and firefighters
with the HFD that took their time to show the juniors what city firefighting
is all about. |
