This morning, Lieutenant Eric "Flo" Oberdorff worked what will probably be his last fire before he leaves for the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, Illinois today.

At 0024 hours, the Rescue-Engine was due to cover Lancaster County Fire Station 7-9's area while Company 7-9 was working a fire in Conoy Township (7-1 Local).  Rescue 41 went with 8, A/C Livelsberger in charge, in about a minute.  While enroute, Rescue 1 was re-directed to the scene of the working fire for suppression duties.  Upon arrival, the crew was directed to manpower staging and then put right to work with the overhaul of the 2nd and 3rd divisions.  Company 41 worked the scene for about an hour before returning to Company 7-9's quarters for the stand-by.

Thanks to the Craley Volunteers for providing a crew at the 41 House!

Good Luck Lieutenant Oberdorff!
