•12-18-08 - Nine Calls For The Day•
04:32 - Attack 21 and Engine 41 responded to a reported natural gas leak outside on the 300 Block of N. 7th Street in Wrightsville.
There was a previous gas leak outside of Maytown, Lancaster County, and the cause of the odor was detirmined to be from the earlier incident.
Chief 41 placed the box available at 04:40.

06:17 - The Rescue Company along with units from Station 21 were alerted for an auto accident with entrapment on Mt. Pisgah at  Cool Creek roads in Hellam Township.
Rescues 1 & 2 responded in one minute.
The call ended up being on Mt. Pisgah in the area of Ducktown road.  Units arrived to find 1 vehicle on it's side with a Class 2 patient with an ankle injury.  Crews attended to the patient, and were quick to leave the scene due to receiving a Structure fire call in Wrightsville Borough.

06:33 - Due to 41/21 being on the incident on Mt. Pisgah road, other agencies along with Attack 21, and Rescue 41-2 responded to the 300 block of N. 7th street in Wrightsville for an odor of gas inside a structure.  Chief 41-1 arrived on scene, strong odor of natural gas in the area.  The incident was again related to the earlier Lancaster County incident, and was quickly placed available.

07:11 - The Rescue Company was dispatched along with Station 21 for an auto accident with injuries, Route 30 in the area of the Wrightsville Exit.  Station 41 dumped the house with 12 personnel in one minute.  Chief 41-1 arrived on the scene reporting a 3-vehicle accident.  41 & 21 crews depowered the vehicles and assisted in patient care and packaging.  Crews then remained on the scene until all of the vehicles were towed away.  Box available at 08:30.

08:50 - Once again, the rescue company responded with 11 for a vehicle accident with no injuries, 9th and Hellam Streets in the Borough of Wrightsville.  Crews arrived and staged on scene until the arrival of Police Department.  Box available at 09:16.

09:38 - A call came in for a Class 1 medical call in the first due on Mifflin Drive in Hellam Township.  Rescue 41-2 responded in less than a minute with an EMT on board.  The box was available within 15 minutes.

20:51 - With 3 members out of town taking Engine Company Operations at the York County Fire School, the 41-03 box was dropped for an auto accident with unknown injuries on Route 30 just west of the Wrightsville Exit.  Rescue Company responded with 14 personnel in less than a minute.  Rescue 41-2 arrived on scene to find 1 vehicle with a flat tire, no fire services needed.  Crew assisted in changing the tire and then went available.

21:15 - The 41-02 box was dropped for a Class 1 medical assist on Travis Circle in Hellam Township.  Rescue 2 was enroute in one minute with 4, and 2 EMT's.  Rescue 2 was available within 15 minutes.

21:50 - The 41-01 box was alerted for a medical call in the Borough on Walnut Street.  Rescue 41-2 enroute with 4, and 2 EMT's in one minute.  PD on scene advising, no EMS needed.  41-2 placed available.
