The Wrightsville Volunteers started thier day just before 07:00 hours with an injury
crash on Route 462 in the area of Walnut Springs Rd. Deputy 41 arrived
on location confirming one vehicle into a pole, splitting it in half. The
Rescue-Engine went enroute in two minutes with a crew of six, Lieutenant Groft
in the seat. The patient was in care of EMS 41 upon arrival of Rescue
1. 21/41 crews secured the vehicle and waited for towing services until the
box was available 30 minutes later. Just after 11:00 hours, the Rescue Engine was dispatched with Hallam for a controlled burn on Range Rd. in Hellam Township. Tanker 21 arrived on location with a small fire and explosions for aerosol cans, the fire was under control and the box was placed available by Tanker 21. At 12:23, Engine 1 was requested to respond with the Maytown Brothers with a vehicle accident with heavy entrapment. Rescue 1 responded in place of the engine with a crew of 8. The Rescue-Engine arrived as the extrication process was being completed. 41 crew assisted 79 with cleanup and debris removal. The rescue remained on location until 7-1 and 7-9 were available.
