As the first large snow storm of the season dumped several inches of snow over the area the 41 volunteers were dispatched for an unknown injury accident on the 30 strip. As units were responding Chief 21 was in the area with nothing found and placed the box available.

Shortly after units returned to the firehouse the 41 pagers were activated yet again for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment on Cool Creek Road. Within seconds all 41 apparatus and the command vehicle were on the street with the update being a 2 vehicle accident with 1 patient trapped in the vehicle. Shortly after Chief 41 arrived and confirmend entrapment.  Rescue 2 crew arrived just ahead of Rescue 1 and Engine 21 and began stabalizing the vehicle. Crews then worked together to extricate the patient in 12 minutes.
