12.25.05: Engine Responds To Christmas Day Structure Fire

At 12:54 hours, local alarm box 21-01 was struck for a structure fire on East Market Street in Hallam Borough, bringing in Station 21, Engine 38 (Yorkana), & Truck 16 (Springetts). Engine 41 was hit out for as a replacement for E-16. Engine 41 responded within 2 minutes with a crew of 10. When 41 arrived, they were told to stage in SCBA in front of the structure until further orders were received. 41 crew then did a secondary search on divisions 1, 2, & 3. When the search was complete, Wrightsville firefighters assisted 21 with the overhaul/cleanup process. Engine 41 was available nearly 2 hours later.
