•12-6-08 - 5 Accidents In Two Hours - One Trapped On The Hill•
Just as snow began to fall in York County, the 21-15 box was dispatched for an unknown injury crash on the 30 Strip in the area of Accomac Road.  Rescue 41-2 hit the street with four qualified personnel in one minute.
Rescue 41-2 arrived to find one vehicle spun around and blocking the left lane of 30 westbound. 
Crews from E-21 and R-41-2 depowered the vehicle then went available.

At 18:04, the 41-04 box was struck for a vehicle accident with entrapment on Cool Creek road at Mt. Pisgah.
41 dumped the house in one minute with 17 personnel.
Deputy 41 arrived on location, 2 pick up trucks head-on collision, and confirming one person entrapped. 
Rescue 2 crew stabilized the vehicle and started the extrication.  The EMT doing the inside rescue advised crews of a respiratory arrest, rescue crews quickly pulled the patient out of the vehicle.
Crews began CPR on the patient until the arrival of Ambulance 41.
After care was transferred, crews cleaned up debris and waited for towing to be completed.

At 18:28, another vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Dark Hollow road in the area of Accomac Rd.
Lancaster Engine 8-1 (Columbia) handled the call.

At 18:36, While Maytown units were operating on multiple incidents, the Engine out of 41 was requested to assist on a vehicle accident with unknown injuries on River Road in East Donegal Township, Lancaster County.  41 was placed available before response.

At 19:43, a Class 1 injury accident was dispatched in the township on the Lincoln Highway at Shoehouse Rd.
Attack 21 arrived on the scene to find a 6-vehicle crash.
Engine and Rescue 41 arrived on scene and assisted in patient care, then returned available.

Because of the weather and call volume, the 41 Lounge was utilized for the evening, and a crew of 6 bunked in.  One med assist call was recieved at 02:19, with Rescue 41-2 responding in just 30 seconds.
