2.18.06: Auto Accident Early Saturday Morning

At 06:13, just prior to sunrise, Station 41 was alerted to the area of Rt. 30 near the Cool Springs Rd. overpass for an auto accident with unknown injuries, vehicle smoking in Hellam Township. Rescue 41 arrived on scene with a one-vehicle accident, patient in the care of EMS. Rescue 1 crew de-powered the vehicle. Rescue 1 was then placed available, and Rescue 2 remained on scene until the vehicle was towed. 41, with a crew of 17 was then placed available 42 minutes later.
