•2-19-09 - One Vehicle Into A Pole, Another On Fire•

At 07:16, after icy road conditions hammered York County, the 41-04 box was dispatched for a vehicle accident with injuries at Route 462 and Strickler's Lane.
Rescue 41 responded with a crew of 5 in two minutes.
Units arrived to find a single vehicle accident into a utility pole.  There were two class II patients.  Crews boarded and loaded patients into Medic 7-7.

The Wrightsville Volunteers were alerted at 09:50 hrs for a vehicle fire on Kreutz Creek road in the area of Route 30.  Chief 21 arrived on the scene to find a working mini-van fire. Engine 41 responded before dispatch under the direction of DC41 (Deputy Chief Livelsberger) with staffing of 5.  Rescue 41-2 responded moments after the Engine.  The crew stretched the front attack line and one crosslay to the vehicle and forced the hood.  Tanker 21 arrived and supplied the Engine.  Within minutes, 21 Command advised YC911 that the fire was under control and the highway was soon reopened.
