Saturday, March 25th the 41 house held its annual membership banquet. The social
hour started off at 1700hrs followed by a slide show presentation by President/Deputy
Chief Smeltzer. All attending guests and members were served a roast beef
dinner served by Smeltzer's Catering. After dinner Mayor Steve Rambler (Guest
Speaker) gave a speech that made sure that Station 41 along with the mutual aid
departments are appreciated by himself and the communtiy of Wrightsville. Two
more slide shows followed along with a video slideshow by FF Eric Oberdorff. Awards
were then given out by Chief Urey, Service Pins were given for years of service,
The Juniors were given Firemen Statues and congradulated by State Representative
Kieth Gillespie, and Congressman Todd Platts. Yearly awards were then
given out, and members were able to kick back and relax for an entertaining and
fun night of music and partying at the firehouse. We would like to thank all
of the mutual aid departments and council members for attending.
