•3-25-09 - Fuel Tanker Overturned In The Township•
Shortly after 1100 hours, communications dispatched the 21-14 box for an accident involving an overturned fuel tanker with one trapped on Freysville Road in  Hellam Township.  Intially, units from 38, and 37 were dispatched due to the close proximity of Windsor Township.  Rescue Company 41 and Chief 41 responded with 10 Volunteers. Engine Company 21 , pulled a protection hand line and began stabilization. Units on scene w/ negative entrapment, patient was removed prior to 21/41 equipment.  Captain 21 arrived and took Freysville Road operations, and Command was handed to Chief 41.  The Volunteers from 41 arrived and immediately assisted in damming and securing leaks on the tank.  Crews then assisted on scene cleanup and then returned to service in over 3 hours.

Thanks to Rescue Company 23 for providing a transfer to the 41 house during the incident.
