•3-27-09 - Injury Crash and a Working Chimney For The Night Crew•
At 17:57, the 21-01 box was dispatched for an auto accident with injuries on Market at Broad street in Hallam.
Rescue Company 41 responded with a combined crew of 13 in one minute.
Chief 21 arrived on the scene with a 2-vehicle accident, 1 injured person was in care of EMS 41.
Crews from 21 and 41 depowered the vehicle and controlled fluids.

Then, at 20:32 the 41-04 fire box was struck for a chimney fire on Cool Creek Road.  Engine/Rescue 41 responded in one minute with 16 personnel, and 3 remaining in-house.
Chief / Engine 41 arrived on the scene to find a 2-1/2 story dwelling, with light smoke on the 2nd division.  41 crews split between roof and interior.  Truck 8-1 arrived and set up the tower.
Roof crews swept the chimney while interior crews shoveled built up debris from the flu.
No extension was made into the walls, and the box was available in less than an hour.
